I know you're mostly here for my art but if you clicked on this button it's probably because you want to learn a little bit about me. Fair enough! So, allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Michael Peacock. I grew up in Mount Beauty (regional Victoria) and moved to Melbourne at the ripe old age of 21 to study Film and TV at Deakin University. 

 

After that, I started Peaks Film and Photography (with an unfortunately long name) roughly 4 years ago when I entered the industry as a wedding photographer and videographer (we all do at some stage, don't we?).

Since then I've expanded my skills, filming all round the world in places like France, London, New York, Harvard, LA, Singapore and of course filming all around Australia too. 

​

Why do it though? Because I love to tell stories. Even from a young(er) age I used to love spending hours playing in the backyard living in a world of my own imagination. I connect deeply with peoples journey's and love to truly understand the why behind what someone does and who they are. And those stories take many forms!

​

No filming project isn't fascinating to me. They all tell stories in one way or another. Whether it's through the more obvious documentary style films or the more subtle webinar/ online course style content - each provides a different way of people expressing themselves.
